Welcome Condors!
Dear Students, Parents and Friends of North Monterey County High School;

We are looking forward to the beginning of another year of fun and music; the excitement of the marching band competitions in the fall and wonderful performance concerts during winter and spring.

North Monterey County High School Band Boosters is a group of hard-working parent volunteers aimed at supporting all of our kids and the music program at NMCHS through our nonprofit fundraising efforts all year long. Our goal is to deliver supplemental funding to music education in the wake of devastating budget cuts, and help provide our students the opportunity to travel and perform, bond together and form long-lasting friendships.This year we will continue to brainstorm to find new avenues for raising funds as well as bringing back those that are tried and true. You’ll find us selling baked potatoes or nachos at school events, and participating in local events such as the Artichoke Festival and seasonal band concerts that showcase the talent of our wonderful students.

If you have a student in band, welcome! You are also a band booster! Join us at our regular monthly meetings to listen and share ideas for improving our great program. Our meetings this year are on the second Thursday of each month, always at 6:30 pm in the band room. Please provide us with your contact information, including email address, so we may send you updates on our volunteer events.

It takes a village of volunteers to raise a NMCHS Band! Be sure to check the Band’s website often for information on performances and events. We expect to see many new faces this year as well as our returning friends. Join us; help keep music alive in our school by volunteering, participating in and attending our events. Our students are growing up but they will always benefit from supportive family members.
